Description:
Introducing the 5th generation VTOL stealth-bomber prototype.

"The Airforce could establish air superiority anywhere in the world in a matter of hours, rather than waiting days for the Navy."

About the aircraft

TR-57 is a strategic long-range VTOL stealth bomber, containing a full-sized TR-34 parasite stealth fighter.

The flying wing design can stay airborne for extended periods and is capable of both launch and recovery. It can serve as a stealth-tanker (greatly extending the range of entire squadrons), a super-heavy bomber (with fighter removed), or as a covert Special Operations Transport when empty.

Stats

Range – 1500km

Max speed: 600kph

Fuel: 50k

Powerplant: Twin dual-turbine engines

Unit Cost (with fighter): $200k

Instructions

TR-34 pilots will be familiar with the operation of this aircraft

Press ignition and wait, the aircraft will start in VTOL mode, standard helicopter controls

Turn off the ignition once started

wheel brakes are on by default

1/2 controls forward thrust (be careful it is powerful)

Altitude hold works in both VTOL mode and forward flight

Disable the gyro to unlock the full flight envelope of the aircraft

Enable gyro when using the pilot aids

The lift fan improves cruise flight performance and can be used during forward flight.

There is a special button that starts an engine fire, can you evacuate in time?

Fighter Launching & Recovery instructions

Have the mothership in VTOL mode with altitude hold set

Open the Tailgate

Open the cargo bay

Unlock the Trolley and slide it to the rear of the aircraft

Unfold the fighter wings (button under left wing)

Turn on the fighters Fuel Pumps, Lift Fan & Gyro

Hold ignition for around 5 seconds to start the fighters engine.

Wait a few seconds for the lift fan to spool up.

Pilot can press 5 to toggle connectors (also a button on trolley)

Recovery is the same process reversed.

Notes:

Note that the parasite fighter landing gear is not used when docking.

The Trolley Lock keeps the trolley in place and stops it damaging the interior of the aircraft during forward flight, always use the trolley lock.

Don’t use altitude hold to descend large distances when in VTOL hover mode.

Turn off the fighters Gyro when being transported in the bay.

The Keep Active block is located on top of the aircraft next to the wind sensor if you want to remove it.

This is a new prototype, I’ll keep testing it and making it it better, suggest Stuff!

The aircraft linked above requires minor modification to fit on the trolley. However if you would like a separate copy of the parasite fighter ready to go you can message me on discord.
