The Hotseat Mod
This is the first Version of my Hotseat Mod.
It adds a Hotseat mode to the game, so you can now play the Campaign with or against a friend.
The Playable Factions are:
Player 1 = Scipii
Player 2 = Carthage
How to play:
-Simply start the Imperial Campaign as the Scipii (i disabled other factions so you cant go wrong here)
-When you press "End Turn"
—–> the Camera will move to the edge of the map (so your opponent will not see your hidden troops)
—–>and Player 2 can make his turn
Known Issues:
-Unfortunately in this first Version you cannot save the Game!! You can play aslong as you want, but you will not be able to save the Game, so keep this in mind.
-You play on the same Computer, so you will not be able to fight against each other (maybe introduce a rule to autoresolve battles against each other to keep it fair)
A better Version will follow soon with the following features:
– beeing able to actually save the game
– playing as other factions
– an option for more than two players
Feral stated they are considering a real multiplayer campaign and i really hope they will do this.
Modding an online campaign will not be possible! So if you are interested in an online Campaign with real battles against the other player let feral know it, so this could happen eventually.
