Description:

Not compatible with files that change the export_descr_unit and feral_export_descr_unit file, or the export_descr_unit file, or the unit ui info and textures for the greek factions. This is only for base imperial campaign, this mod does not effect barbarian or Alexander expansions.

This mod aims to make battles last longer by increasing the defence, armour, and morale of all units. I went for stats similar to Roma Surrectum 2 so battles can last up to 20 minutes, maybe longer.

Units will hold battle lines for much longer and will not route 1 second after charging. Cavalry charges are more powerful, and missile units ranged attack got a slight buff so they can be used in late game battles. Unit depth is increased so at the largest unit scale the formations are closer to squares so it may help with path finding in sieges.

Changed the greek hoplites to not fight like pikemen and instead fight more historically, however I did add levy and phalanx pikemen to the greek cities roster. Works in campaign and custom battles.

Adjusted general bodyguards to be larger and have 1 HP, but the general himself has 10 HP so he wont die on charge like they tend to do. All Melee and missile units have standard bearers on the side.

Let me know if there are any imbalances that break battles. I want to make sure its perfect since I will use this in my vanilla campaigns. Cheers
