2021 Ford Bronco Sport
2021 Ford Bronco Sport – A Brick Rigs first!
With all the media hype centered around the new full-size Bronco, I thought I would give its lesser-loved CUV sibling, the Sport, some love on the Workshop.
The Ford Bronco was first introduced in 1965 to compete with the Jeep CJ and International Scout. 56 years after the Bronco’s debut and 21 years after it’s discontinuation in 1996, the Bronco returned in 2021 (taking styling cues from the original) after a 21-year hiatus due to rising popularity in SUV’s and to compete with the Jeep Wrangler. To complement the return of the Bronco, Ford also released a CUV called the Bronco Sport (which is the vehicle you’re currently looking at right now), to create sort of a Bronco "sub-marque," like in similar fashion with the Mustang and the Mustang Mach-E electric crossover.
