In the aftermath of a nuclear holocaust, the remaining survivors found shelter in a complex cave network connecting most of the planet.

Description

NOTE: A new save is needed to work properly. It is NOT recommended to remove this mod already being used in a save. According to multiple reports, CE partially works, a patch will be worked on soon. A roof over a pawn will NOT protect them from radiation, this is not a bug, this is intentional. If you wish to live in an irradiated biome, you will have to utilize the rad collector / nanotech purifier.

RadWorld aims to create a more challenging environment by making many changes to the core game.

  • All of the vanilla biomes are now permanently irradiated making them inhospitable without proper supplies.
  • 6 new cavern biomes have been added in which 4 of them are safe from radiation.
  • Practically all vanilla wild animals have been removed, only way to acquire them is through caravan trading.
  • Pawns can now get mutations if they are exposed to radiation for long periods.
  • Caravans will get radiation when traveling through irradiated tiles.
  • Adds multiple gas masks and hazard suits for protection against radiation.
  • Gas masks needs a new filter every 48 hours.
  • Multiple new factions such as vault natives and mutants.
