Frostshards
The Frostshards are essentially a very "Fantasy" way of keeping things frozen. It’s purpose is intended to help players playing a "Fantasy" Tribal/Medieval playthrough.
As per their "Lore" they were created through Alchemy. Therefore to create a Frostshard you need to have a.. sacrifice.
– Passive Coolers must be Researched.
– The Recipe calls for: 1 Heart, 25 Jade, 5 Gold, and 5 Silver.
– They also glow blue…which is cool.
I will be updating the look of the crystal to match Rimworld’s artstyle and am planning on adding more size and cooling variations. Maybe eventually adding them to worldgen? who knows.
