Amor Patriae
Welcome to Amor Patriae!
Did you know Roman Emperor bloodline does almost nothing and is being used in a few events? I didn’t know it too. Also I looked in and discovered that only Latin culture group is affected by Roman Renaissance. though Latin influences are higher than just cultures in that group. And so I decided to change that.
Now when Roman Renaissance begins these conversion speeds will be;
Dalmatian – +55%
Italian – +50%
French, Occitan, Iberians(not basques), Sardinian and Vlach(Romanian) – +25%
Normans, Outremer’s, Andalusians, Arabic Egyptians, central German group(except Germans) – +10%
Berbers(inland) – -15%
Basques – -25%
Copts – -50%
Greeks – -100%(as vanila)
Also on base converting any culture to Roman with Emperor’s bloodline gives +25% speed
Now when you restore ‘imperial borders’ you will also gain nickname ‘Restitutor Orbis’, which held emperor Aurelian. Be the second emperor that is ‘luckier than Augustus and better than Trajanus’.
I added more names for Roman cultured characters, as it seems like every character is either Titus, Aurelian or (the cursed) Julius-Caesar(WHO EVEN DID THIS!?)
I long thought of mods for Romans and as I am Roman culture enjoyer myself I found it lacking in flavor in vanila CKII. Now my dream of full-on RP-ish Roman culture was fulfilled and I can rest… Or I thought so.
I think of adding a few decisions…
I. Decisions to incorporate kingdoms into Roman Empire(Like Italy and Romagna) if emperor has enough diplomacy and stewardship
II. When Imperial Borders are restored Rome will have a chance to crush HRE pretenders(if HRE exists) and scatter Germany into infighting, that Rome can exploit and fulfill dream of Octavian, making Germany de-jure part of the Empire
