Description:

This bloody mod adds 3 new land units to Cyprus, Sardes, and the Seleucids. The units added are:

Diadochi Picked Cavalry(Heavy Cavalry)

Diadochi Golden-Shield Hoplites(Very Heavy Hoplites)

Diadochi Syrian Elephants(Well… Elephants)

All three are made to be historically accurate. The Seleucid Empire did make a contingent of specially selected cavalry chosen from greek settlers, show off ten thousand hoplites bearing golden shields in a parade, and the elephants of Syria tended to be slightly larger than typical Indian Elephants, even though these Western Asiatic beasts were less commonly employed in battle (really I just wanted a recruitable version of Syrian elephants, but they do have a few differences compared to other elephant units). These various units are available both as generals’ units and can be recruited from military chain buildings. I also enabled Cyprus to recruit Galatian Royal Guard and obtain them as a general’s unit (the same goes for the Sardes with Aspis Companion Cavalry). The mod also adds two naval units of Levy Thureos Spears.The first is a just small dieres available to the Seleucids and Cyprus, whilst the second has fire pots, but is only available to Cyprus. One more major aspect of the mod is that it unlocks a plethera of previously unrecruitable units from the base game for the Seleucids, Cyprus, Sardes, and even Pergamon. I did. of course, aim to make these availabilities historically accurate as well. The unlocks are different for each faction so… I’ll let the ppl have fun finding out what they are! 😀

P.S. If you feel a bit too lazy to try and discover if a certain unit… or units are made playable for a faction you can ask me and I can answer… if I’m not feeling too lazy 😛
