I found in-the-field salvage crate payoffs to be a little lackluster, often times no worth chasing down, so I added values to give you anything from 30k to, in rare cases, 3.5 million Cbills depending on the game’s RNG (rarer weapon drops = higher Cbill output).
Great for wreckless players like me that spend a fortune on repair costs between missions.
In one test-run, I managed to nab three salvage crates for 150k apiece, that’s 450k total that was used to cover travel expenses, general upkeep, and post-mission repair costs. This is on top of any payout from the mission itself.
