Description:
The Coat of Arms Designerish…

Honestly, an actual Coat of Arms Designer really just seems like it is far more work than I have free time right now, so here’s some hacky work arounds!!

Thank you all so much for all the love. It’s really been so great to be able to make this for the community, y’all are great.

How to use this

This is not complete yet. I have released it in this state because it mostly works and this is already better than the pure random that comes default.

Right now you’re still going to randomize into a lot of empty CoAs. What this mod does is allow you to focus the randomize button into one of a few categories.

Step One: Begin in the Ruler Designer
Step Two: Temporarily, change your religion and culture to the CoA Designerish religion and culture
There are nine categories to focus your randomization down to

  • Beastiary
  • Crosses
  • Objects
  • Plants
  • Patterns
  • Religions
  • Script (letters, words, etc.)
  • Stars
  • Symbols

Step Three: Smash that randomize button.
Step Four: Change your religion and culture back to what you want to play as.

Updates
More Categories

Well, after I added more charges I found that the original categories had gotten so full as to no longer be useful. Great. So how about some more categories! Now we have Animals and Large Animals. We also have Symbols One, Two, and Three. I posted a Discussion on the names of all of the files in each of these categories to provide some help.

More Charges

Okay, in the game files I found a whole bunch of charges I hadn’t yet added.
This does unfortunately mean that the Symbols category is now up over 200 charges and pretty well breaks the usefulness of that category. I will be looking for ways to break this one down. I’m open to suggestions! 😀

"Language Support"

I have used the highly questionable power of Google Translate to at least include all of the supported languages for this game. Maybe this was the worst choice of my life, we’ll find out, but hey at least the mod should function in any language.

This is far from perfect

A real, usable Coat of Arms Designer has been number one on my patch wish list, as if you couldn’t get that about me. I have also see the community asking for one too. So, yes, this is rough I know it, nonetheless I decided to release it the very second it was usable at all so y’all could starting using it now.

FAQ

Can I use this with?
Achivmos? Unfortunately no.

Ironman? Yes.
