GNR Sturrock 2-4-0 & 2-2-2
In the 1860s, Archibald Sturrock was the CME of the GNR. He designed numerous locomotives for the railway, and this mod contains two such designs; a 2-4-0 and 2-2-2.
Available in 1868:
The 2-4-0 is of a standard double framed locomotive, with the coupling rods positioned on the outside of the frames. These locos would’ve been used for mixed traffic, freight and possibly some passenger services.
Available in 1863:
The 2-2-2 would be used for passenger and light, fast freight. The singles or ‘spinners’ are a type of locomotive designed for high speed over tractive effort.
Not included is the 4-2-2 in the screenshots, as it is also a GNR Sturrock loco, that is part of another mod you can get here:
