JNR 201 series EMU Yamatoji line
The 201 series is a commuter EMU that was introduced in 1979 and uses thyristor chopper control and regenerative braking. After the Chuo and Sobu lines, the train was introduced to the Tokaido and Sanyo Lines in the Kansai region in 1982. It was also moved to the Kansai Main Line (Yamatoji Line) in 2006.
