Originally build from the 1970’s and onwards in multiple eastern bloc countries as BR-130 (later nicknamed "Ludmilla") this Diesel Electric Locomotive was one of the most powerful Locomotives of it’s time. It’s distinctive Sound and good Performance made it a all time classic of eastern bloc Locomotives. This Version is supposed to be a post-german unification version which has been inherited from the DR by the DB. Since a perfect replica is almost not possible due to the real 130’s Co’Co’ Axel Layout this isn’t a perfect replica but rather tries to catch the overall style of this iconic Locomotive.

• Top Speed: 205 km/h
• Max suggested Speed: 140km/h
• Max Speed with 5 Donkk Tankers: 175km/h
• Range: ca. 150 to 300 km based on Throttle and Load.
• Total internal Fuel: 7500l
• Safety Equipment: SIFA, Traction Control

Startup Checklist:

1. Circuit Breakers (in Engine Room) : ON
2. SIFA System in (Engine Room) : OPTIONAL (Please read down below what this actually is before using it)
3. Go to Cabin
4. Master Key : ON
5. Fuel Pump : ON
6. Air Compressor : ON
7. Wait for Pressure
8. Engine : ON
9. Parking Brake : RELEASE
10. Reverser : FORWARD
11. Lights : OPTIONAL
12. Brake : CHECK RELEASED

SIFA System:

The SIFA System (Sicherheitsfahrschaltung) is a simple Dead Men’s Vigilance Device. It requires a frequent Button input (labeled SIFA) or else an the Loco will initiate emergency braking. The System works in three Stages:

1. – First Stage (30s) – No Warning Light / No Braking – pressing SIFA Button will reset Timer
2. – Second Stage (10s) – Blinking Warning Light / No Braking – pressing SIFA Button will reset Timer
3. – Third Stage – Steady Warning Light + Warning Tone / Emergency Braking – reset Loco (reverser neutral, throttle zero, no brakes )

You don’t need to use this System if you don’t want to. Just leave the SIFA Switch on the Breaker Panel in the Engine Room in the OFF Position.
