RNLAF fire & rescue truck | Mercedes – Rosenbauer
This truck is a fire & rescue truck in service with the Royal Netherlands Airforce (RNLAF). Its a lighter alternative to the normal crash tenders, with extra equipment to handle all fire duty’s on military bases. Its made because the standard crash tenders were not suited to be flown over to overseas military bases. The Actros fills this gab, it can be easily flown over to overseas bases like those in Mali, Afghanistan and more. where it can perform all fire duty’s around the base, from fighting aircraft fires to structure fires, and from rescuing trapped people to fighting car fires.
