Rashnu, together with the other arbiters Sraosha and Mithra, oversaw the passing of the dead into Heaven. For all of eternity, he knew that what he was doing was just; for only the righteous may find themselves at the gates of Paradise, and the system which judges their worth is supreme. Do your good deeds outweigh your wickedness? Are your sins forgiveable in the eyes of Zoroaster? These questions were clear-cut, morality, a simple and absolute set of truths. For it was Rashnu’s role to provide comfort and salvation to the worthy dead, and in this work, he felt fulfilment.
So when the faith of the people wavered, and all the gods and angels were cast from Heaven, Rashnu found himself faced with all the souls he had discarded and left to languish. Souls he might have misjudged. Souls who slipped through the cracks in the system, now all too visible. Souls who were sentenced to an eternity of suffering, for only a lifetime of sin. Here in this darkness, Rashnu realized what he had done, and knew all at once what he was: a callous demon… an unthinking puppet of a cold, ruthless machine.
So what could Rashnu do to repent, but grant whatever comfort he could to those he left behind? When they were hungry, he let them feed on his divine blood. When they were cold, he took them into his own body. When they cried, he cried for them. When they suffered, he took the pain onto himself. As more and more souls joined Rashnu’s following, his own form took on an increasingly dark and wretched state. The wickedness gnawed at his sanity. He was always hungry, always tired, always in pain, always wracked with grief, and it would never stop… until he heard a song. Rashnu heard a song, echoing down these cursed halls that he found himself in, and it soothed him. The pain melted away. The hunger abated, and he could finally sleep. Rashnu decided to stay here, where he could listen to the song. In truth, the relief was only temporary, and the suffering would never cease. Some days are harder then others… but when his pain is at its worst, and Rashnu feels as though he can no longer go on, he hears it again – the song of his muse, his savior. That wicked soul which took pity on an angel.
everything lol
CUZ ADDING BOSSES SUCKS W/O IT!!!!!
yes and they dont show up in the mirror world. and it gets super messy when you want to add multiple bosses to the same floor. and when i press X on my controller to skip the boss splash, half my screen is still covered by the boss splash animation until it finishes (because thats literally how it works lol, they force their own animation to cover the boss half of the screen and play their own animation. and you cant skip it with a controller. i did the same thing in my drowned cage mod (tho i updated it to use stageapi too lol))
