Description:

UPDATE 6/23/20 – Added lifeboats. Made the lights off by default (there’s a button on the bridge to turn them all on), minor cosmetic details here & there. Sorry for the delay, had a very busy last couple months.
Working on redesigning the ship’s engines/generator (which will affect the bridge control layout). Preliminary testing is going on, but requires a ton of adjustment. Once this is finished, the ship will be complete and I will work on uploading a less "destructible" version.

UPDATE 4-5-20 – The ship’s sinkable feature has been extensively modified. In addition to the ship sinking at a much more fast paced rate, there are now 2 different sink options.

**********************

Based on pictures of the riverboat "American Song", this modern cruise ship provides all the amenities one could desire while vacationing at sea.

The ship currently boasts 84 cabins, 2 suites, multiple lounges, gift shop, casino, bar, dining room, and theater. In addition there are many crew only areas such as kitchen, laundry, medical facility, and crew accommodations.

From a performance standpoint, the ship travels at a max speed of 13.2 knots, has a modern (mostly) screen-based helm, and a detailed engine/generator level.

Sinkable / destructible. The ship is designed to leave a debris field in the ocean where it sank as well as make underwater exploration of the sunken ship pretty exciting.
In order to sink, one must sabotage the computer system on the bridge. Recommended sabotage conditions are at night & when the water is at least 90M deep.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1 – Due to the destructible nature of this ship, FPS is extremely low & likely unplayable on most computers. Once i finish working out the kinks in this ship, i plan to upload a 2nd version of this that is a bit more FPS friendly.
2 – Due to the FPS, it is strongly recommended that a player is located as close to the stern ladders as possible before starting a mission with this ship.
3 – This ship doesn’t fit in the standard build box & must be spawned via the mission editor.
4 – There are 2 workshop items in this ship. I have credited the creators in the "required items" section. go check out these items as they’re amazing!
5 – The ship currently has a very minor startup procedure, all of which can be handled by the bridge. Push the "start engines" button near the weather display to turn everything on. The forward buttons engage the clutch
6 – While the ship has an active stabilizer, its pretty top heavy & doesn’t handle waves all that great.

WIP things left to do:
-Redesign the central helm console to make it more user friendly
-Make the (currently non-functional) auto-pilot functional
-Make the (currently non-functional) radio functional
DONE-Adjustments to the electrical failure routine (its broken right now & doesn’t always shut the power off)
-Engine/generator redesign to optimize performance
DONE-Make the (currently non-functional) bow thrusters functional
-Startup procedure & redesign to the engine/generator control rooms
-Minor aesthetic adjustments
DONE-Add a ramp for docking
DONE-Adjustments to the sinking routine to make it more enjoyable (its pretty slow paced/boring currently)
-Adjustments for the elevator
-Make cabin doors sliding
