The Besiege Custom Scene Mod

If you have used this before, you know what this mod will do.
It allows you to replace the ingame plane floor with your customised terrain.

What is inclulded in this mod?
  • A terrain manager to load custom terrains (works in MV as well)
  • A little tool to change sky box
  • A speedometer to know your machine’s position, velocity, acceleration, G-force by tracking the starting block
  • A timer that you can count time
  • A little clock so you know the time
  • A few small tools that allows you to:
    • Remove fog
    • Remove world’s boundary (haven’t tested in MV client, but for host it will work fine)
    • Remove floor
  • A Mini Map (coming)

How to use the mod

To open/close the speedo: Ctrl + F8
To open/close the scene list: Ctrl + F9

How to install new terrains

  1. Download scenes from the link provided above, and unzip all the folders.
  2. Navigate to where your game is installed, and go to the folder Besiege_DataModsData
  3. If there’s no folder named with BesiegeCustomScene_xxxxxxx, just open the game once and get into a level to let the mod set up the folder.
  4. Go into the BesiegeCustomScene_xxxxxxxx folder, and put the scenes into the Scenes folder, then you’re all set.
    The Scenes folder shoud look like:

How to load terrains in MV

Both Host and Client must have the identical terrain.
Then simply click on the scene list and load the scene.

Note: As all physics are simulated on the host machine, clients who don’t load the same scene will see weired machine behaviour.

Known bugs
  • This workshop version will not load scenes and the scene list window will not appear, as path setup is incorrect [working on a fix, should be done within the next 48hrs]
    • A temp solution will require you to locate the folder that contains this mod, then copy and paste everything to your ModsBeseigeCustomScene folder.
  • Scene folder button will not work as Modloader has not yet provided a relavent method to run it.

Known compatibility issue with other mods/blocks
  • Collider display mod will crash the Scene list window
