City Bus LiAZ-677
LiAZ-677 is a Soviet city bus manufactured by the Likinsky Bus Plant. The first prototype of the bus was produced in 1963. Mass produced from 1967 to 1994; piece assembly at third-party car assembly plants from car kits continued until 2002. Since the beginning of the 2000s, it has been gradually decommissioned. In total, about 200,000 buses of all modifications were produced (the most massive model of the plant). LiAZ-677 is the first Soviet bus with a hydromechanical (automatic) gearbox. Buses of this model were used in almost all cities of the Soviet Union.
