Discus Class

GBO has the pleasure to bring you the first House yacht purposely created for exploration of inshore waters. The 65 feet Discus Class was design with views and confort in mind. With a 360º view angle from the salon, you can literally sit anywhere and be able to see in any direction! With a capacity of 6 people in 3 cabins, a fuel tank of more than 18000L you have a range of 200km at 29kts even in the worst conditions!

Main Saloon

The main saloon layout was created so that you would have a 360º view from any place to any place. The galley is situated in a middle with a living area aft and the dining area on the bow. Even so the boat only has capacity to sleep 6 people, the dining table can seat up to 8 people, letting you sit guests for a wonderful dinner.

Cabins

GBO made so that every cabin in the houseboat comes with an en suite bathroom. this means there is no sharing at night, maintaining the privacy of each person in each room. Every cabin is has also included 2 arctic gear and 2 diving suits.

Systems

CAS

CAS or collision avoidance system is what makes navigation much safer. This system is designed to, when the Autopilot is on, prevents the boat to collide against shore or any large boats.
Dual mode Autopilot

The autopilot in this boat can both hold an heading course or go to a waypoint. when arrived to the waypoint location the boat will stop and wait for the next waypoint or for you to take control.
Multi function displays

Throughout the boat you will find some displays where you can supervise what’s going on with your boat. In this displays you can oversee the engines, electric system, bilge pumps and auto pilot. In total you have four locations that you can access and control this systems.
Electric systems

To facilitate the management of the electric systems, GBO has included a completely automatic electric system. with a press of a button on the displays or on the generator, you can turn the system on or off. At the same time, if you feel the need for more power, you can always go to the engine room and change the output of the generator by yourself through the generator throttle.
Bilge pump systems

One more way for GBO to make the Discus Class a more user friendly boat is to include a completely automatic bilge pump system. The boat concistes in 3 different bilge areas, the bow, amidships and the stern. Each of this area has its own pump and water detector. If any water is detected in any of this areas, the correspondent pump will turn on automatically. You can control and oversee this system through the multi function displays.
Multi dimension Maneuverability

GBO made easy for you to dock this boat with the new waterjet technology controller. This system will let you, while docking, rotate in your own axis, move sideways and throttle forwards or backwards with just a press of a button.
Remote control capabilities

GBO knows how important it is to actually see what you’re doing while docking. For this reason the new Discus Class house yacht comes included with a new docking remote system. This system will let you remotely control the boat anywhere including bow, stern or even on the dock itself. This way you can have the best view of the mooring space and guide your boat with ease. To let the boat be remote controlled you need to activate this mode on the helms seat.
Full Lights control

The lights on the saloon, helms station and on the sundeck can adapt to all of your needs. with a press of a button you dim the lights down or up, and you also have a party mode (hold the buttons brightness up and brightness down at the same time). The lights on the sundeck are also dimmable and you can change the color. For the cabins and ahs it is a GBO tradition, the masters room comes witht he famous star ceiling feature. At the same time every cabin and bathroom has player detector lights, this means that unless you want to turn the lights off by yourself, the lights in the room you are are always going to be on.
