A310 Multi-Role Fuel Tanker (MRTT)
A310 Fuel Tanker convert. I thought I’d make something military related before weapons DLC came out.

If you have a flight plan set and engage PROFILE, NAV, and THRUST AUTO, the plane will automatically manage its speed during climb. If not, you can use the buttons near the landing gear to manually set climb and cruise thrust.
The NAV and Profile buttons function the same as LNAV and VNAV on all of my other planes. The flight plan can be inputted through the keypad on the pedestal, and although Profile defaults to a cruise altitude of 1,000 M that can be changed through the keypad on the right. Any values or items in the FMS that are colored blue can be changed by clicking on them.
LAND can be pre-armed while NAV and Profile are active, and when the plane comes to the end of its flight plan it will automatically switch from NAV & Profile controlling the plane to LAND without you having to change anything. If you’re really lazy, you can set up a flight plan and arm LAND and the plane should fly the flight plan and automatically land itself without you having to do anything.
To properly line the plane up with the runway, systems on board compare radio frequencies between the left, right, front, and back of the plane to the localizers on the ground. Make sure this works correctly by inputting the correct radio frequency in the NAV1 radio and inputting the set runway course. Both of these numbers can by found on the workshop page for the localizer environment addon here, which you need for ILS to work. Remember, each airport has its own unique frequency and course!
–Autoland Checklist
Make sure the plane is relatively in front of the runway before engaging autoland- the autopilot will fly a 15 degree intercept heading, and if you are too far off to the side or too close to the runway it won’t be able to line up in time. THRUST AUTO will automatically set landing thrust (29.17) if it is engaged at glideslope intercept.
Autoland works best when engaged at least 10KM away from the airport.
1). ILS FREQ/COURSE- SET
2). LAND- ARMED
3). AUTOBRAKES- SET
4). SPEEDBRAKES- ARMED
5). AP1 AND AP2- BOTH ON
6). GEAR/FLAPS*- AS DIRECTED
The FOS is mostly self explanatory. I wasn’t able to test out fuel transfers in flight between two planes because I’m not a very good pilot and couldn’t get the two planes connected, but there shouldn’t be any issues. If for some reason this isn’t working, let me know in the comments and I’ll see if I can fix it.

*Flaps sometimes don’t work. I don’t know why, or even pretend that I can fix whatever is going on with them. They can work fine sometimes but I just wouldn’t use them unfortunately
