Description:

This is a AS-20R, my first S.A.R. helicopter with 2 engines. It’s cheap for medium size rescue helicopter, but it has so many featrures which make it very good and useful.

Mass: 3300.

Cost: $45.260

Top speed: 69 knots (10 RPS)

Cruise speed: 60 knots (5 RPS)

Features:

– 1 medical bed, 5 passanger seats and 2 pilot seats with CO pilot control ability.

– Winch, that could be used from a cockpit and by harness.

– Alt. hold and Map autopilot (You can use autopilot only by using display, read below how)

– Radar.

– Trunk with equitment.

– Parachute (can safely land helicopter on the ground in emergency situation)

– Easy engine acces (black arrow near the hood indicate a button to open)

Controls:

– w/s – pitch.

– a/d – yaw.

– up/down – collective.

– left/right – roll.

1 – Brakes.

2 – Camera.

5 – Unlock parachute.

Checklist:

*On the left seat*

1. Press 1 to activate brakes.
2. Turn on Main battery (Yellow switcher).
3. Turn on Beacon light, avionics, hydraulics, fuel pump and ignition (Panels above you).
4. On the main console set RPS to 10.
5. Set Throttle to the 0.40 and turn on Nav. lights.
6. Wait utill RPS will be 4.5 or 5.
7. Set Throttle to 1.00.
8. Turn off brakes and press hold UP key to take off or W key to drive forward.
9. After take off remove gears.

How to use autopilot:

Buttons: zoom: to scroll, you need to hold E in one place and Q in another. You can do the opposite. if the second tap is higher than the second one the map will move away and if it is lower it will move closer
move map: you need to hold down the tap on the map and then it will start moving in this direction.

R : center of the player
B: canceling the last waypoint
С: clear route

Click on the map to set a waypoint.
Autopilot is activated only if a signal is given.
The controller gives a signal if there is a route.

Flip the switcher ‘autopilot’ after you finish planning a route.
