JNR Class C58 Steam Locomotive (R-BUS CAT2)

The Class C58 is a 2-6-2 wheel arrangement steam locomotive type built by the Japanese Government Railways (JGR) and Japanese National Railways (JNR) from 1938 to 1947. A total of 427 Class C58 locomotives were built and designed by Hideo Shima . Two members of the class are preserved in working order.

It’s same as my last creation C57. Get it from here.

1. Get into the cab.
2. Push Request Control button.
3. Open the firebox by pushing Firebox button.
4. Pick up some coal from tender and throw them into firebox. It’s hidden by Sliding Hatch.
5. Push Ignitor button to ignite the firebox.
6. Switch Pumps to ON.
7. Wait for the boiler to make some steam.
8. Push Water Valve button to increase the pressure. The safety valve will automatically prevents boiler from exploding if pressure is bigger than 9.
9. Set Reverser 1 will move forward, -1 to move backward.
10. Single Valve Brake controls the brake only on this car. Auto Valve Brake controls brakes on all car. Don’t forget to push Request Control button.
11. Regulator controls speed.
12. Set Air to 0 will put out the fire in the firebox.
13. Horn needs some steam to work.

Set Physics Detail to Medium or above!
Set to Low may cause some issues on pistons.
If you have issue with pistons, you can stop them by pushing Disable Piston button.

国鉄C58形蒸気機関車は、日本国有鉄道の前身である鉄道省、運輸通信省、運輸省が導入した蒸気機関車である。

前作のC57と同じです。ここから入手できます。

1. 運転台に入ります。
2. Request Control ボタンを押します。
3. Firebox（火室）ボタンを押して火室を開きます。
4. 運転台後ろにあるハッチを開けて、炭水車から石炭を取って火室に放り込みます。
5. Ignitor（着火）ボタンを押して着火します。
6. Pumps（各種ポンプ）をオンにします。
7. ボイラーが沸くのを待ちます。
8. Water Valve（注水弁）ボタンを押すとボイラー圧力が増します。圧力が9以上になると安全弁が作動します。
9. Reverser（逆転器）を1にすると前進、-1にすると後退します。
10. Single Valve Brake（単弁）は機関車のブレーキのみを作動させます。Auto Valve Brake（自弁）は全車両のブレーキを作動させます。Request Control ボタンを押すのを忘れずに。
11. Regulator（加減弁）でスピードを制御します。
12. Air（風戸）を0にすると火室を消火します。
13. 汽笛は動作に蒸気圧が必要です。

物理設定(Physics Detail)を中以上にしてください!
低にするとピストンの動作が悪くなります。
ピストンに問題が生じたらDisable Pistonボタンをオンにするとピストンの動作を停止できます。
