P-97 Interdictor
With the success of the Type 7 Pilot Boat in civilian service at ports, and its record in both being effective at it’s job and at conducting High Speed Transport and Rescue, the Navy became interested at the prospects of taking a variant of the Type 7 into service. As a result, the P-97 Interdictor Class, a lengthened version of the Type 7 was born as a counter to unlawful fishing & migration enforcement, as well as to conduct Littoral Combat and Rescue Operations.
The P-97 sports a domestically sourced OA25M Autocannon up front with 180 degree field of fire (90 either side), able to be controlled from either the helm, or directly from the gun mount itself. The OA25M features a ready load of 100 Rounds of Ammunition and two Fire Modes (Semi-Auto, and Full Auto).

How To Use:
– Go into the Cabin and sit in the helmsman’s seat, turn on the Main Power Switch (Bottom Right)
– Turn on the Generator Clutch.
– Turn on the Main Clutch.
– Use the Throttle Lever to determine Speed (When you set the Throttle to any number your true speed will be 4 knots higher)
How to Use the Gun:
– On the panel above the helm turn on the power and the master arm.
– Select your Fire Mode, by default Semi-Auto.
– Sit in either the Helmsman’s seat or use the handle on the gun.
– Aim with your mouse, note if using the internal seat it will aim where you point it, whereas if you are using the handle you it has a multiplier to keep your view as centred as possible, use small mouse movements if using the handle.
Notes:
The Boat will roll toward one side in normal operation and during turns, there is a risk of capsizing, however, this can be managed with ensuring you do not turn too much and counter steer if you feel it’s about to go over. Additionally due to how lift is calculated and it’s interaction with wind, having winds of more than 40% will likely result in a capsize, this is unfortunately not fixable to my knowledge.
