Tank Controller
Hey guys!
This Microcontroller takes your WASD inputs together with some settings to create a perfect tank driving experience!
It was supposed to be simple, but turns out that this is a lot more complicated than I thought.
Anyway….
FEATURES:
1. You can control the Overall Speed but also how fast you want your tank to turn On-Point.
2. Using simple WASD controls, this 4×2 Microcontroller converts it into controls for your tank tracks.
3. On-Point Turning only activates when under 1m/s speed.
4. If you want to make it turn faster or use On-Point Turning while driving, simply reconfigure the Threshold Gate that is hooked up to the input "Speed".
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Connect your WASD controls.
2. Configure your Overall Speed and On-Point Turning Speed using the Select Tool.
3. Hook up a speed sensor on Absolute mode.
4. Set up this design on each side: (This is needed for the controller, you can add more!)
Engine –> Gearbox on 1:1, 1:-1 –> Clutch –> Tracks
5. Hook up the Gearboxes to the equivalent "Reverse" output, and the Clutch to the equivalent "Clutch" output.
6. Drive!
