I like to leave the APU on during takeoff and landing, as the engine generators produce very low power at idle
Autopilot
HDG/NAV SOURCE: switches autopilot heading between INS and heading hold
HDG/ILS: switches to ILS heading
ALT/GS: switches to ILS glideslope
The autopilot switches are below the throttle, and it can also be disengaged by pressing the hotkey 1
INS
Position/Desired Track: switches INS display between current location and entered flight path. Also switches DS/TRK distance between distance to ILS airport and distance to next flight plan waypoint.
