— CONTENT —

This Mod adds 93 Technologies to all Wood Elf factions, combining various elements from the Norsca tech tree with those of Biniu’s excellent Technology Overhauls for the Asur and Druchii factions.

This Overhaul has been made with legendary difficulty, as well as the Gates of Chaos and increased Chaos Invasion mods in mind.

Keep in mind that you most likely wont be able to sustain all of these technologies, as most of them come with a penalty to upkeep and/or public order.

The additional tree is categorised in 5 subcategories:

1. Our Duty: These are expensive as hell, requiring both copious amounts of gold and a new resource gathered through combat. You’ll find effects like "Adds "Stalk" and "Unspottable" to all Wildwood Ranger Units" here.

2. The Golden Guard: A tech tree dedicated to a brand new unit called "Ancestor Legion". Every technology makes them more deadly, but at a cost to upkeep.

3. The Pact: Here you can make a choice between making friends with either Vampires or Dawi. You’re going to cripple yourself in order to make this alliance work. If you pull through you’ll come out stronger than before.
Expect effects like "Increased magical resistance for all Elf Units", "Produce Gemstones at your capital", and "Turn your faction undead". You can only make one pact.

4. Retake the Old World: Norsca has got a fabulous tech tree. Now You’ll find similar challenges with the Asrai.
Take Kislev, incur a massive penalty, but if you persevere you’ll receive massive bonuses themed for every capital you’re reseeding.

5. Retake the New World: Exactly the same but now with Lizards and Mummies.

A new Unit: Ancestor Legion

This Unit with a completely unique appearance is something to behold. High stats all around, you’ll find that the Asrai did not fully abandon its Ancestors tactics. A magical Lothern Sea Guard geared towards endgame with an upkeep to match.

This Unit is affected by non- "Our Duty" Wildwood Ranger effects.

— REQUIREMENTS —

I’ve fully incorporated all of Calm&NormalTime’s mods alongside the Shadowdancer from Mixu’s Tabletop Lords.

I genuinely dont know how a lack of DLC affects this mod. Just expect that this file will require the ownership of all DLC+FLC.

— FUTURE PLANS —
  • Cross faction units depending on Pact chosen.
  • Undead Elven units to replace the zombie summon.
  • Lore of Undeath Spellsinger unlock.
  • Buffing either AI Dwarfs or Vampires depending on Pact chosen.
— ISSUES —

— Sometimes a technology doesnt show its effects after researching. In reality the effect is simply hidden to the player thanks to wrongly designated effect scopes (They’re tricky like that). I’ve done this to keep the UI from overflooding, but as more and more people are complaining about this, i am going to make them visible shortly. Expect a fix around 6PM CEST.
