SS Harston (1909)
* This is a remastered version of the Harston (II). Come 2020 I wanted to remake this ship, so here it is. *
At the turn of the 20th century the Stormworks Transportation Line was in a pretty good position: all 3 of their "Tall Stacks" were in service and the extremely lavish and popular Hampstead Castle was now serving under their flag. However, this satisfaction would not last for long. Other lines, such as Gem Lines, were putting larger and more opulent liners into service and it was quickly clear that the STL needed to respond. They approached the Anderson Shipyard and placed an order for the largest, fastest, and most opulent class of liners the line had ever seen.
Introducing the SS Harston (II). Named after a ship that once brought the line back from the brink of Bankruptcy, she entered service in the spring of 1909 as the company’s flagship. At a length of 505 blocks and a weight of 547196 mass, she sails at a service speed of 17.9 knots with a top speed of 18.35 knots and is one of the most beautifully decorated ship on the seas of stormworks.
Her early career went off without a hitch. She sailed over 40 round voyages before she was requisitioned by the Stormworks Government to carry troops during the great war. She, converted to a troop ship, would work alongside her nearly completed sister, the SHS Hemdon, for the duration of the war. Although the Hemdon did not survive the war, the Harston would emerge unscathed and work alongside her new sister, the Harleyford, in providing a very lucrative express passenger service.
As popular as both ships were, neither would last forever. Now approaching the 30’s the Harston was extremally outdated and her popularity was on the decline. While her younger and slightly more modern sister, the Harleyford, would continue in service a bit longer, in the summer of 1935 the STL made the decision to pull the Harston from service and sell her for scrap.
Many people who cherished the old lady were eager to buy as much of her fittings as they could before they were gone forever. Many various articles were sold to individuals, such as plates, chairs, and linens. The largest article sold was the entirety of her lounge to the Staybridge Suites Hotel on the Sawyer Islands. As the former flagship of the STL, now completely gutted, began her final voyage to the scrap yard, the line’s current flagship, the SS Harmonie, altered course to give the Harston a final farewell salute and send one last message: "Goodbye Old Girl."
PLEASE NOTE:
– Spawns at the large oil rig
– All controls you will need are located on or can be accessed from the bridge.
– To TURN ON LIGHTS, you will need to go into the officers space below the bridge by using the stairs located on the bridge, starboard of the wheelhouse.
– YOU CANNOT HAVE INFINATE ELECTRICITY ON
– To SINK, press 6 on the helm ONCE. you should know if it worked if steam has begun to vent from the funnels (the pipes on the front and back of the funnels)
VERY IMPORTANT:
At one point in the sinking the ship will seem like it has stopped sinking. Trust me, it has NOT. She will sit for several minutes and will continue to go down.

3) Locate the spare ropes on the raised deck by the gantry davits.
4) Press E on the winch located on the gantry davit to attach one end of the rope.
5) Press E on one of the rope anchors on the lifeboat to attach the other end to it.

There are several amazing photos in the slideshow that were taken by these photographers which have been labeled. Thank you guys for these awesome screenshots.
– I want to express a special thank you to Oceanic Star Line who created the amazingly aged pictures and advertisement posters you see in the slideshow. He is an amazing artist and I am privileged to feature some of his work here.
– I also want to say a special thank you to The Red Creator, A normal Commentor, and R.M.S TheJohnStorm2006 for assisting me in testing out the vessel. This project was almost lost on several occasions and these three tested this ship for me as the new computer I worked off of could not handle spawning anything. Without their assistance, this project would doubtfully have gotten done.
