Dynastic Ties
1 – Reworks consort generation in EU4:
Have you ever wondered why would the game give you a rando local consort instead of allowing you to choose more desirable princesses from strong countries? This mod fixes this.
Every time a new ruler ascends to the throne, he has 2 years to royal marry countries around. After 2 years on the throne you get an event that allows you to get a consort from one of the married countries.
You want to get a de Valois consort? Easy, just marry France or Provence. Habsburg? Marry Austria. No more random "Maria de Niebla" when playing Castile. Although there is still the option to marry a local noble if you would like to.
2 – Allows for easier ways to change Dynasty and get PUs:
Inspired by events such as the Iberian Wedding and Burgundian Succession Crisis, now having an heiress or queen may allow you to get a dynasty from another country and maybe even a PU.
Countries with ruling queens upon marrying will get an heir whose dynasty is the country that originated the consort.
Example: Castile – Queen Isabel de Trastámara
Royal marriages with Aragon, Portugal and England.
In this case, Castile may choose between the 3 countries and might get a "de Avis", "Lancaster" or "de Trastámara" heir and consort.
If a country doesn’t yet have a ruling Queen, but has an heiress, there is a similar event that allows for a smooth dynastic transition.
3 – Makes your ruler progressively more infertile as he ages, debuffs starting at age 30.
It should be noted that PU related events only works for countries valid for PUs, i.e., only christian monarchies that are not subjects
But everything else should work for every religion

The country chosen by the AI is not random, there is a calculation that makes each country more likely than the other to be chosen. You may increase your chances of being chosen by:
- having high opinion
- having high diplomatic reputation
- having high legitimacy
- being closer geographically
- having an alliance
- having same primary culture
- having same culture group
- having same or more total development
- having same dynasty
- having full diplomatic ideas group
- having restoration of union cb
- bordering a province
- having more total provinces
- having diplomatic personality (only achievable for AIs)
- having well conected personality trait
- having fertile personality trait
All of this may lead to more dynasty changes and more PUs around Europe

-You might ocasionally, when playing a ruling queen, get 2 heirs at once (one generated randomly and one generated by an event). The one generated randomly will always be replaced by the event one.
-During the Heiress Event Chain, you might notice some heirs spawning, desappearing and then coming back again. Don’t worry, this was the only way to get the events to work properly, even though it is a little janky.
