Update: 19 – "Return of the Dragon"
– Updated for Jade Dragon
– Fixed some localisation bugs
– Fixed issues where Nomadic tribes were randomly created from theocracies.

Update: 18.01 – "Minior Twigs"
– Imperial Administration gets extra +5 Vassals (Byzantine AI was having problems)
– Added Weapon for some 767 characters
– Children per couple have been changed (AI 2->3; Player 4->3)

Update: 18 – "Gear Up"
– Added new artifacts (legendary weapons, Arthur/Beowulf/Odin/Celtic/Roland/El Cid weapons etc)
– Killing/Imprisoning in a duel during the final phase will allow you to take one random artifact from the opponent (killing in mid phase will not count)

– Added Aslaug and Sons of Ragnarr events for 769 (meeting Aslaug and adds Ivar the Boneless, Halfdan and so on)
– Added Rurik and Dyre Viking invasions in Russia for 769 Start
– Added Rollo’s invasion in 769 start
– Added of Northumbria/Mercia/Wessex ancestors for 769 start
– Added Expand East Francia decision (absorbs Kingdom of Saxony -> East Francia)
– Added Christian Bulgarian Kingdom Event for 769 Start

– Varangian Guard is now de jure vassal of Greece (AI will stop transferring Varangian to the Patriarch)
– Chronicle is no longer a trait (it is now an artifact)
– Increased maximum leadership traits to 3
– nerfed Duke’s max number of commanders to 4 (Same as Vanilla)
– Norse pagans will be less likely to train their children dagger specialisation
– Nerfed initial number of satanists
– Vanilla Bug Fix: lessor rebel commanders now have the correct trait (not just peasant trait for all rebels)
– Bug Fix: cost of hiring a steward is now a flat fee

Update: 17 – "Patching Up"
– Updated to Patch 2.7
– Bug fixes
– Witan demesne size bonus is now +2 but -25% levy penalty (other systems rescaled similarily)
– Horse management works again
– Localisation error fixes
– Training troops action gives weapon skill level up

Features:

Education Overhaul:

– Education Discipline System: The chance to remove bad traits or gain good traits is based on guardian’s attributes and traits

– Education Branching: Allows the ward to build their up to their final education, instead of magically gaining a new education at age 16

– New Educations Traits: 3 new educations to complement the new mechanics in RaW mod.

Unique Battles:

– Combat Battle System: Battles are much more interactive, duels occur in mid battle that may determine the fate of the war.

– Archery System: Similar to above instead, an archer is able to kill or capture the enemy commander from a distance

– Horse v Man and Horse v Horse Battle

– Weapon System: Dynamic weapon system with RPG mechanics (Level ups, different weapons have different advantages in duels)

– Theological Debates: Theology Debates aims to make Learning education much more interesting. Debates have high risk and reward. You could convert another ruler or you could be converted by them. You could gain moral authority and learning but you may a lot of rivals on the way.
*Strategy: Convert a landed enemy priest and they will spread your religion inside the enemy realm

Coat of Arms:
– Many famous dynasty CoA have been replaced by their historic CoA or (if the historical one is not avail) flavour CoAs.
– Christian Cadet Dynasties have unique CoA

Other Mechanics:

– Send Gift System: You are no longer restricted to giving money to the receiver. You are able to send different type of gifts depending on the trait of the receiver (concubines, camels, elephants etc.). AI will also use this system to get more support in factions and appease vassals.

– Horse Management: Breed, mix breed horses, level them up for better stats

– Cadet System (Historical and Ahistorical cadet branches)

– Dynastic Traits

– Battle tactics are now traits based

– War and Peace: Different religions have different bonuses and penalties during war time

– Shatter Mechanic: No DLC -> Crowns shatter when the crown loses its value (min Crown authority + independence faction wins); Horde -> AI Horde will break up like the Mongolian Empire; Conclave -> Either another kingdom can shatter your crown or it could be shatter by independence faction (both cases, the shattering kingdom needs minimum crown authority or a combination of council authority).

– Rebel Mechanic: non-peasant will give back the land to claimants with same culture or religion (sort of like a crusade).

– Rivalry Mechanic: If you usurp/revoke a title, blind/incapable/kill a close relative, you could become their rival.

– Regency Mechanic: Usurp Regency; use decisions to embezzle money; give money to charity, take holding

– Papacy Buff: The Pope will ask all independent catholic rulers to defend him, if he is attacked. Rome is immune during Crusade

– New Ambitions and traits: A lot of them… and I mean a lot!

– Added Historical Events between Old Gods bookmark and the Stamford Bridge bookmark

– Councillors’ Advice: Councillors (Chancellor, Marshal and Steward) will now give advice to their liege.

– Diplomatic Negotiation: set up alliances through tributory and friendship.

– Travelling System: Travel to troubled areas and dispense justice

– Cadet Branches with unique CoA
