Note/Warning: This mod is an an ALPHA state. It likely has bugs, and other game breaking errors. Will be updated/changed as needed with no prior warning.

Ogre horde for the Beastmen. Also some beastmen and other lesser (tasty) races that are trailing along after the tribe. Requires both Expanded Roster – Ogre Kingdoms, and Elite Ogre Mercenaries. Also needs Mixu’s Unlocker to select the faction.

Concept/Lore: An Ogre Tyrant that has been touched (in the head) by the Great Maw. Has essentially become a ‘chaos’ champion, and run off to pillage the world. Other Ogres, in their infinite wisdom, have come along for the ride.

How to recruit: Ogre Bruiser & Firebelly: Both are available under the recruitment category for the Gorebull (Minotaur Hero). Why? If the Firebelly is in the same category as the Brayshaman, Brayshamenof the lore of fire will also be generated.

  • Recruitment cost for Ogres reduced by 90%
  • Beastmen units added for Custom battles
  • Two beastmen horde buildings (centigors and Minotaurs) pushed ‘up’, requiring a higher main horde building to construct them. My intention with this is to make their availability ‘on par’ with my prior changes to beastmen (gor, bestigor) recruitment. More Ogres, fewer beastmen is the shorter version.

Current features

  • Custom LL: Brom Mawmouth with (some) unique skills
  • Custom Hero: Ogre Bruiser (sword/shield or greatweapon at lvl 5)
  • Custom Hero: Ogre Firebelly; currently just generic fire mage with a breath weapon
  • Custom Horde buildings for Ogre recruitment.

Planned Features (time permitting)

  • Moar custom skills/abilities for LL and Hero(s)
  • Additional hero types
  • Custom tech tree additions
  • Changes to Beastmen and other non-Ogre

Known Bugs/Issues

  • Upgrading Herdstones: Intermittent issue. Most of the time it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Seems to be an issue with custom Beastman hordes. Looking into a fix. Building new herdstones, after the dread upgrade, should work as intended to place them at their level.
