ST_146_CARGO_V1

This airplane is inspired by the well known BAe 146 cargo conversion.

All in all it took me almost 70 hours to create this plane.

The forklift and containers are not included in the download.

!!! Please read the description to understand all the functions this airplane features. !!!

Max Range @100 m/s: 300 km

Fuel capacity: 27000 l +/- Jet Fuel

Passenger capacity. 4 + Pilot & Co-Pilot

Max Cargo capacity: 4 Container ( Each filled with 9400 l of fluid)

Propulsion: 4 Turbofan jet engines

Startup from cold and dark:

– Close all door’s and hatches
– Turn on lights as required
– Turn on the APU master at the overhead panel ( wait till the APU avail indicator turns green)
– Turn on both fuel pumps at the overhead panel
– Turn on all 4 starter buttons at the overhead panel
– Turn off the APU master

In case of low battery: (A ground power unit is required)

1.
– Connect the ground power unit to the electric connector. (There is a connector on either side of the airplane. It’s easy to find cause there is a key locating the hatch.)
– Close all door’s and hatches
– Turn on lights as required
– Turn on the APU master at the overhead panel ( wait till the APU avail indicator turns green)
– Turn on both fuel pumps at the overhead panel
– Turn on all 4 starter buttons at the overhead panel
– Turn off the APU master

2.
You can also start the engines manually.
Underneath each engine is a electric connector.

– Connect a ground power unit to on of the connector’s.
– Turn on lights as required
– Turn on both fuel pumps at the overhead panel
– Turn on the engine which is connected to the GPU

The Plane is now ready to taxi.

AutoPilot:

The Autopilot is located in the center console left to the throttle lever.

Those two keypads are used for ALT hold and navigating to WAY POINTS

Using the AutoPilot:

– set an ALT
– set an Waypoint
– Push the F/D button.

Usefull infos:

1: If you leave the Waypoint keypad empty (X=0 Y=0) you are able to YAW and ROLL manually.
2: You will hear an acoustic signal when approaching set ALT

Auto brake:

The Auto brake is located in the forward console.
The seven segment display shows the current mode of the Auto brake:

Mode 1: LOW
Mode 2. MEDIUM
Mode 3. HIGH

Using the Autobrake:

– set the required autobrake mode by pushing the autobrake mode button
– push the autobake on/off button
– turn the autobrake off after landing.

Usefull infos:

The autobrake decelerates the airplane to an speed of 20m/s. Thereafter it switches to manual mode.

Door’s & hatche’s indicator:

It indicates every open door or hatch visually and acoustically on engine start.

Gear indicator:

It indicates visually and acoustically an retracted landing gear below 60m AGL

Stall indicator:

It indicates acoustically that the airplane is close to stall speed.
