Custom Map Size
Have you ever found Civ IV maps too restrictive? Have you found the map sizes too few and too far apart? Well, this mod will fix all of those problems.
With this mod you can set the map’s height and width ensuring tons of flexibility and adding a whole new dimension to the game. Do you want to make a high map with little width? Now you can do that.
The mod allows the width and height to go from 18 – 144. To put that in perspective Duel is 44×26 and Huge is 106×66.
How to set this mod up:
When this mod is installed there is a new map called config. This map is the ONLY ONE that will get affected by the sliders. So you can still play any regular map like Duel or Standard without getting affected by this mod. In order to play with a custom sized mod you need to set the map size to config. There will also be a max total of 64 players and citystates.
Be careful to not overfill a tiny map with countries and citystates because then it may not load.
