The Jewel in the Crown
In a nut shell; this mod allows you to play as the British East India Company, and gives events, missions and other flavour to the new country and its surroundings, based on the historic conquest of India in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Content:
– Playable Honorable East India Company; you can play as the EIC by playing England or Great Britain and getting 5 provinces in India
– EIC mission tree, and 36 flavour events
– Fight to keep control of the subcontinent in the Indian Rebellion disaster
– Operate as an autonomous subject with total command over your own wars and alliances, and with a unique government reform
– Establish Princely States from the Indian countries and then annex them by applying the Doctrine of Lapse
– Construct factories in foreign provinces, increasing your local trade power and improving the income of the province
– The Great Anarchy disaster for the Mughals, resulting in the rise of new Indian powers
– The Carnatic is now formable and has ideas
– Overthrow foreign monarchs in peace deals
– Hire sepoy mercenaries as both European and Indian powers
This is a combination of the Indian flavour from my other mod. While I’m still trying to update that, this mod allows for my favourite campaign from it to be played.
