AV-1 "Pigeon" STOL Utility Plane
Stormlink Compatible
The AV-1 "Pigeon" is a short takeoff and landing utility/passenger propeller aircraft. The aircraft was developed with the goal of operating to the many grass or unpaved runways located on the Sawyer Isles, and boasts the impressive ability to operate in mountain ranges and other dangerous locations. The plane is best known for its route to the Dean Hall Mining Co. facility within Mount Goldblum, where it makes a dangerous approach over a hill before nosediving in for a safe landing at the mining site. AV-1’s stopping ability is accomplished through the use of an advanced autothrottle system to control the engines at low speeds, along with powerful reverse thrust that gives the plane a near zero stopping distance at the hands of a skilled pilot.
*Remember to use trim when flying
**Proper landing config is:
-Autothrottle on, set to landing
