Starbound Reddit Contest Custom Weapons
Once you unlock Treasured Trophies, you can craft the weapons (with a large amoutn of Pixels and Ancient Essence) that were made for the custom weapon contests (1-5) on the Starbound Subreddit!
This is primarily to show off some of the gret talent the Starbound community has.
Visit the Subreddit["www.reddit.com] for even more content – a lot of people make custom items of all kinds just for fun (Some more than others)!
Features:
- The custom weapons – these are not properly balanced for vanilla gameplay so keep that in mind. (These weapons will stay even after uninstalling the mod, and can be used in multiplayer. IMPORTANT: Please don’t abuse them. I nerfed them the best I could so they wouldn’t physically destroy blocks at least, but still.)
- The weapons that won the contest have an orange name instead of white. I may do something more special later.
- Custom weapons are all considered Legendary, level 6, stripped of any colorful naming changes (Except winners of course – and any color in descriptions is still there), have the "base" tooltip type, and the original creators are noted in the description of the weapon.
- The "base" tooltip gui has been increased in height – this of course will effect all items with it, but it only gives it more room so the only drawback is the extra space under the descriptions (As in if the mod is uninstalled nothing will physically break about the weapon)
NOTE: This mod can be safely uninstalled at any time.
To creators: If you do not want your Custom Item in the mod, just let me know and I can remove it.
To server owners: Send me the names of weapon abusers and I will add them to a resource list that other server owners can use to ban the player before they become problematic.
Instead of just using this mod for the Real Protectorate’s Broadsword, why don’t you go check out the official mod for it? It has even more features than this original one.
