[US-2 in Stormworks]
This is the 3rd gen model of my US-2 1/1 replica series.
It has almost same features/specs what real ones has.
It means that you can land on storming sea surface.

[Specification]
– 4x turboprop engine
– 1x APU ( turbo shaft engine + medium generator )
– 25,000L fuel capacity
– Maximum speed : 170kt (315km/h)
– Stall speed : appx. 50kt ( at full flaps )

[Features]
– STOL & Amphibious
– Thrust compensator against yawing at engine failure.
– Autopilot ( ALT, HDG, SAR left turn pattern )
– Waypoint manager with 3 memory channels.
– TACAN receiver ( receive waipoint data from radio wave )
– Emergency Beacon Detector / Transmitter
– Flare and color smoke dispenser.
– Retractable FLIR unit

[How to start up]
1. turn on "MAIN POWER"
2. turn on "APU"
3. turn on "ENGINE START"
4. wait till the engine rps stabilizes.
5. open throttle up to 5~10 and taxi to enough space to expand wings.

[How to take off from water surface]
1. set speed brakes "armed"
2. set flaps "full"
3. open throttle to +30~40
4. just keep the aircraft stabilized.

[How to water landing]
1. set flaps "full"
2. find best approach (depends on wave and wind direction)
3. decelerate to appx 50kt by using speed brakes and throttle.
4. do your best to avoid stall.
5. land smoothly and nicely.

[Navigation – data link]
TADIL transmits waypoint data by radio wave.
TACAN receives waypoint data from radio wave.
(Composite data num1=X, num2=Y)

[Autopilot HDG hold – input waypoint from key pad]
1. activate "NAV" mode of "NAVSEL(Navigation select)"
2. select memory (channel) 1~3 in waypoint manager ( next to NAVSEL panel )
3. input waypoint data from large key-pad.
4. push "SET" in waypoint manager
5. if it went well, navigation monitor shows current destination.

[Autopilot HDG hold – receive waypoint from TACAN]
1. activate "TACAN" mode of "NAVSEL"
2. set TACAN radio frequency
3. if the signal is enough strong, navigation monitor shows current destination.

CAUTION : this mode requires active TACAN station or TADIL data link.

[FLIR]
– press "1" to activate "TRACKING MODE".
– while tracking mode is on, coodinates data of current target is send to TADIL.
– press "2" to activate "INFRARED MODE".

[RADAR]
– Its strong radar system can track multiple target in the air, on the surface.
