Flower Class Corvette [Weapons DLC]
A Flower Class Corvette (modified – longer forecastle being the main visual difference after a refit in 1943) based on HMCS Snowberry which saw service with the Royal Canandian Navy during WW2 primarily as a convoy escort in the Atlantic. HMCS Snowberry was one of 10 flower class corvettes loaned to Canada by the Royal Navy after construction was finished in 1941. The flower class was based on the need for a small convoy escort ship that could be produced quickly in large numbers whilst more suitable frigates and destroyers were constructed. Flower Class Corvettes were very successful in the duties assigned to them (mainly North Atlantic Convoy protection) .
- Detailed semi-historical interior and exterior (some of the weapons were used on the class but not this specific ship and the interior is not fully historical either)
- Almost 1:1 scale (slightly too short to make sure it fits in the creative island workshop)
- Sinkable Look behind the pipes in the room before the bridge
- Working Hedgehog ASW mortar
- Updated with weapons DLC (working depth charges, cannons and more) and a number of quality of life fixes with this being an older project (new lifeboats, searchlights, doors, radar etc).
Issues
- Relatively slow (though this was a feature of the real ships)
- Not a full interior and low level of interior detail compared to more recent builds.
