Fix of rifle sling for 41.6+
this is "my" first mod, i don’t really know what i’m doing lol

If you dont know what that is it adds a new "sling" which is a holster specifically for long guns, meaning you can finally carry an axe AND a shotgun
****MAKE SURE YOU DISABLE THE ORIGINAL RIFLE SLING FOR TIME BEING****
thats all you need to do, have fun. and yes it works in mp
this literally the same file as RifleSling but with two items deleted cuz that somehow makes the mod work again
all rights and clout belong to Akyet, i will delete this mod once the main version is fixed
also i am not a coder this is a bodge, aka a jerry rig. if anyone can figure out why those files are making errors that would be swell lol
if you do NOT want to download this and want to use the ORIGINAL mod by Akyet on 41.6+ then do the following
first make sure ur subbed to his mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2644986930
go to
C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent1086002644986930modsSlingModmedialuaclientTimedactions
and delete the two files in teh folder
"Sling_ISEquipWeaponAction.lua" and "Sling_ISDetachItemHotbar.lua"
when you are done the "Timedactions" folder should be empty
boot up the game and enjoy
if you have trouble finding the folder location the directory is located in Poject zomboid in game, in the mods desc
trying to exercise with a weapon equipped will glitch and not allow you to automatically stow your weapon, meaning you have to hit "ESC" and press exercise for a second time
an alternative fix to this is downloading "Exercise with Gear" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2513537093
Changing the position of the sling while already equipped has a chance to cause a phantom double of the sling in the attach menu, this one is only a visual bug no real problem and easily fixed by de-equipping and re-equipping
some reports of slings not spawning naturally in MP servers
