EnigmaConundrum’s Maori [R&F]
Adds the Maori and the following leaders: Te Atairangikaahu, Te Kooti.
UA: Mana Whenua. Land melee units reduce the Combat Strength of adjacent enemies by 5 and heal up to 10 Hit Points from combat victories. Gain Culture equal to 50% of the unit’s total experience when a unit is promoted.
UU: Taua. Maori unique Medieval era unit that replaces the Swordsman. Weaker, but fights at full strength even when damaged, gains doubled experience when attacking, and is unlocked at the Military Tradition civic.
UD: Pa. A district unique to the Maori for military facilities and growth. Replaces the Encampment. +1 Production when built adjacent to a Farm or Plantation. +15% combat experience for all melee and ranged Units trained in this city.
Te Kooti
LUA: Ture o te Atua. Melee Units earn Faith and Great Prophet Points from kills when trained in a city with a Holy Site, and units trained in a city with a Holy Site gain +7 combat strength when in or adjacent to a Pa. The Pa District receives a major Faith adjacency bonus from the Holy Site.
Agenda: Prophet of Ringatu. Likes civilizations founding cities on his home continent if they are high in Faith. Distrusts civilizations that otherwise are settling on his continent and are low in Faith.
Te Atairangikaahu
LUA: Kingitanga. Receives a random Inspiration when a new city is founded. Gain the Marae unique building when they research the Pottery technology.
LUB: Marae. A building unique to the Maori that replaces the Granary when Te Atairangikaahu is their leader. +2 Faith, +1 Loyalty. Unlocks the ability to purchase Settlers with Faith in this city.
Agenda: Mana Motuhake. Likes civilizations that will maintain an Embassy with her, and especially likes civilizations that will form long-term friendships with her.
