Storm Chefs is one of the largest catering truck companies in the world of Stormworks, providing food and other consumables to airlines and other business via their many catering trucks.

Improved Features and Changes

This is essentally a version 2.0 of my previous catering truck that I made under the StormEx Livery. I found that there where several issues with the previous version that I improved upon with this one.

  • The most notable issue with the previous truck was the ramp could only be lowered when it was above the cab or higher, meaning planes with cabin floors lower than the cab roof could not use the ramp. I have removed most of the cab leaving space for only a driver seat, and replaced the wide fold down ramp with a narrow horizontal ramp that sits where the cab use to be. This allows the ramp to be used at a much lower height than previously, meaning its compatible with smaller planes.
  • The next issue was there wasn’t a way to connect with the plane to close the gap between the ramp end and plane door. I have added Mag-Alls to the front of the ramp and extended the ramp to over hang the front slightly.
  • The storage area, wheel base, rear outriggers, fuel tank, and rear end have all been moved back / extended by 2 blocks.
  • Addition of a ladder bellow the left side door
  • Livery and other minor Changes

Features
  • Fully functioning Scissor Lift
  • 5 speed automatic transmission with reverse and a top speed of 60mph
  • 4 Wheel Drive
  • Outriggers with Mag-Alls
  • Ramp with Mag-Alls
  • Controllable from Drivers seat, Left side control panel or ramp control panel
  • Openable Engine Bay
Note
  • This vehicle has a low ground clearance and the engine can easily be damage if you are going to fast in hilly areas
  • This vehicle is top heavy with the lift up, I wouldn’t recommend driving around with the lift up, only moving at slow speeds or maneuvering next to an aircraft
