Middle Earth Project Remastered
First thing, I did not create this mod, it is an old mod that was discontinued in 2020 when the devs went to make this for ck3 instead, when I played this mod I found an issue with trait icon rendering, that I thought I could fix and did the research and fixed the issue. You can see this in the image I added, to see this better click on the plus next to the image to bring it up in true uncompressed format. However what I planned to do is contact the devs and get my fix implemented… although when I discovered it was discontinued I obviously could not do this so I decided to publish this myself.
Will I make any further updates to this mod? Although I initially had no plans I have now decided there are many things I can do to improve the quality of this mod that I will be doing and releasing, it would be useful to me to report bugs or strange things that should be changed in the report thread however please do not give suggestions for new content, as for now I wish to streamline and enhance the features of the original mod.
This edit is based of the final version created (0.831) which, as it happens, is not available on the steam workshop (it seems they never uploaded the last version to the workshop) and I instead downloaded it off moddb
TL;DR: badly rendered trait icons bugged me so I fixed it and uploaded for other people to use too
Here’s a quick tip, turn off the setting to auto generate families unless you want Frodo to have children etc
