Robna kuća Patrija izgrađena je 1979. godine i bila je jedan od simbola grada Prijedora. Smještena u samom centru grada, od samog početka ona je za Prijedorčane predstavljala simbol razvoja, dobrog života i prosperiteta. Raspadom države počinje i propast Patrije, da bi se konačno ranih 2000-ih godina i ugasila. Sljedećih dvadeset godina stoji prazna, da bi 2019. godine počeo proces uništavanja ovog dragulja Jugoslavenske arhitekture, i transformacija u savremeni tržni centar sa brojnim brandovima koji unkažavaju već ionako neinspirativnu staklenu fasadu.

The Patrija department store was built in 1979 and was one of the symbols of the city of Prijedor. Located in the very center of the city, from the very beginning it was a symbol of development, good life and prosperity. With the collapse of the state, the downfall of Patrija also began, and by the early 2000s it was completely defunct. It then proceeded to deteriorate, abandoned and vacant for almost 20 years. The process of destroying this jewel of Yugoslav architecture began in 2019, and by 2021 the transformation into a modern shopping center with numerous brand logos that disfigure the already uninspiring glass facade was completed.
