Radiant Unique Recruits Dialogues
This mod overhauls all the unique recruit dialogues. Giving new, lore friendly, adequate dialogues for them while also tweaking a lot of their behaviours and recruiting conditions. This mod is a must have if : You desperatly want to see new lines in your next new game / You want more possibilities and complexity / You want harder line choices / You simply want more dialogues or want to know more about unique recruits stories / You don’t like when the endgame gets so silent. It’s strongly advised to run it with its two other radiant brother mods. (specified in description)
The mod reworks unique recruit on several points. You have to take in account that this mod was originally planed to contain a tremendous amount of additional new content/lines. So it’s won’t be finished until ages. I had initially planed to released it when it would be finished, but I changed my mind and accepted the fact it could be fun for y’all to see the changes bit by bit, update after update. Having high chance to give you something new to discover on your next game. Be gentle, and keep in mind this mod will be modified/updated a lot of times to reach perfection.
- New unique recruitment dialogues : More complexe, detailed & still very lore-friendly. All informations contained in the new lines related to the original lore have been verified. New personal stories have been implemented in these dialogues, especially for unique recruit with (almost) no story at all. New conditions will be required to recruit them (time, last time spoken, character speaking, money, squad size, etc.), more choices will surely lead to more various consequences (price amounts, lock on, alarms, bounties, fights, relation maluses/bonuses, discounts, free fee). Some of the best / most sensibles vanilla lines will be kept as intact as possible (for exemple beep’s behaviour, Hamut’s story details, crumblejoin epic lines, and many more etc.) to stay fidel to the original game content. Because no need to change what’s already excellent right ?!
- New unique dialogue packages : Instead of an array of generic lines + few custom lines, the new dialogues packages will work as exclusive standalones and will help each unique recruits to grasp its own unique behaviour. I know, it’ll probably take me ages.
- New casual talk dialogues : Have you ever wished there were more of those dialogues you see sometimes when you squad chills, reacts to its environement or steps into a new biome ? Say no more ! Most of them will be triggered in specific conditions (Where, who is in the squad, when, what status, near what, etc.)
- Dialogue fixes : A lot … and when I say a lot … Anyways, lot of bugs/glitches/freeze/locks due to vanilla mistakes in dialogues’ data have been corrected to give you a better experience. Some hidden/failed vanilla lines will finally been displayed and some cases/choices will finally work. I don’t know why the dev team was so sloppy on this when you see all the complains about things not properly working. I won’t be able to fix all of them, but at least unique recruits will be well restored if not born anew.

Tested with 50+ mods, this game has a pretty simple data architecture. It should be compatible with any other mods.
IT DOES NOT ALTER THE VANILLA GAME, IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE WITH YOUR GAME IT’S PROBABLY NOT THIS MOD FAULT.
This mods needs a clear new game or a full import for old saves to work properly. (because of some important npc squad tweaks/modifications)
