SS W. E. Fitzgerald
The SS W. E. Fitzgerald was a great lakes freighter built in 1906 by the Detroit Shipbuilding Co. The vessel went through a self-unloader conversion, bridge collisions, and sales to many different companies, until 1972 when she was scrapped in Humberstone, Ontario.
