Description:

It has been at least two weeks since the release of T-Pose Leper. Throughout this time, we, and our selected team of Plague Doctors gathered and analyzed enormous amounts of data. Seeing comments likes of "BEST MOD", "This is amazing" or "??", we’ve deduced that overall consensus on the mod is that it is a great enchancement to already magnificent game that is Darkest Dungeon. However, there were some complaints about the mod’s lack of actual Power Level, and we will be looking into this issue right now.
As one could see, we’ve intended the mod to be purely aesthetic, to merely improve the graphical side of the game, but as many peope in the community have noticed, the mod doesn’t give the Leper any additional power. This, as we came to the conclusion wasn’t the step in the right direction. Therefore, we’ve increased the damage ratios, accurracy, range and efficency of the intimidate move. This way, we feel like giving players an oppurtinity to really play T-Pose Leper the way he was meant to be played.
Our other worry is that too many people have had their Leper die. Seeing that just having new looks, it didn’t help leper to avoid "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t RNG", "literally just a luck" or "♥♥♥♥ing unbalanced piece of ♥♥♥♥ of a game", as many players have described the gameplay of the Darkest Dungeon. Seeing that, we’ve decided to bump up some of the Leper’s stats, mostly base damage, accurcacy, and protection. We feel like this change, while giving players more power, will allow the best ones to express their skill in a way that wasn’t possible before, mainly because of the restraining mechanics and wide range of random factors that could limit the player’s ability to play the game.
Additionally, we’ve noticed that too many players would simply use intimidate, thanks to its superior firepower over any other skills. This would not only make gameplay boring, but also leave all the other skills underused. To combat this, we’ve decided to buff Purge a significant amount, and give it a nice visual effects to reward the player for using the skill. We hope that this change will seperate good Leper players from great Leper players.
In the closing remarks, we want to once again thank you all for trying out our mod and hope you will enjoy new, better, fresh, high-octane gameplay of the new Leper as much and even more than the original.
