BEA Hawker Siddeley Trident
This vehicle is based on the Hawker Siddeley Trident which first flew in 1962 and was a direct competitor to the Boeing 727 and ceased flying in 1995.
Features of my vehicle
– All glass display (The real Trident was a candidate to recieve one of the first all glass flight decks in the 1970s. (hence why all displays are green to match the CRT displays that would have been fitted))
– Moving map, Radar displays
– Aircraft warnings menu (as secondary channel for displays)
– Altitude Hold (Get to your desired altitude and flick the switch)
– Autopilot (Just plug your desired coords in and it’ll get you there)
– Speed Hold (Very useful when on approach to landing)
Note when landing – Keep your speed around 120 and you’ll be fine
Future additions
– Autonomous Landing at mainland runways
– Auto-flare on all landings
