Guardian – Templar Agent
Ready to fight just as the war for liberation reached its conclusion, Guardian is ready to provide his brand of support to Chimera Squad.
Guardian starts with both the basic Templar kit of Rend plus Momentum, plus his own unique psionic talent called Mind Meld.
A squadmate designated with Mind Meld will gain +10 aim and +5 defence as long as Guardian remains conscious. In exchange, any kills or subdues done by that squadmate has a 33% chance of granting Guardian a focus charge.
Guardian can freely change who he melds with each turn, though the bonus only lasts as long as he focuses a connection.
Guardian later acquires the ability to spend Focus to Mind Boost his melded squadmate, granting them further bonuses in aim, defence, and mobility. His ultimate skill is the return of Ionic Storm, letting Guardian expend his accumulated Focus in exchange for a chance at gaining it back and clearing the board of hostiles in one swoop.
Passives that can be selected (though only some of them can be acquired in one playthrough) include Deflect, Deep Focus, Protector which allows Mind Boost to provide additional bonuses like bonus armour, and Meld Fortress, allowing a Mind Melded squadmate to become immune to certain status effects like Fire or Poison.

You should see a CookedPCConsole folder that just contains one soundbank file. Copy and paste that folder to:

Merge it with any other CookedPCConsole folder if it exists from another mod you’ve installed. This will enable Guardian to have voiced dialogue on the tactical layer.
Firaxis for the reuse of X2 assets, obviously. :p
Blizzard for Starcraft + Heroes of the Storm, which the Artanis voice pack takes assets from both.
