The Ancestor 先祖
The ancestor is a master of necromancy, alchemy and occult. With the experience of failures in crypts and warrens, he got breakthroughs in further experiments. Before he faded into the nihility, he cloned himself and his ex-coworkers, then infused the copies of his souls into the flesh.
The clones may not be perfect as their prototype, but still can overwhelm any humans or monsters easily by summoning the incarnations of horror. All these forbidden knowledges are always at the cost of insanity.
Now he send his clones return to the Hamlet, take part in missions in person. But what’s his purpose? For fixing the mistakes he made? For continuing on his never-ending truth seeking? Or just for guiding his inheritors to the darkest dungeon, where they will meet the fatal ends.
