Chesiq Faster Giants And Rogue Idol (Updated)
Updated for the latest game version (The Warden & The Paunch DLC)
Giants are no longer garbage units and become the staple of the doom stack.
Mod makes Giants run fast and hit a bit faster.
Additionally it makes rogue idols from The Warden and The Paunch DLC faster and hit harder.
When I tested Rogue Idols mixed with Giants stack vs wood elves mixed army, I lost a battle..
Rogue Idols 1v1 a Treeman – by the time the Treeman died, RI was left at 10% HP. So I buffed their flesh damage 1.5x. And removed delay between attacks. They are scary now.
For both Giants and Rogue Idols, I removed the delay between their attacks and increased how many entities they can hit with their attacks, so it should make them much better in melee especially against blobs of infantry.
Giants that are affected – Greenskins, Norsca, Chaos, Beastmen.
Giants that are not affected – Giant Boss from Greenskins.
Rogue Idols that are affected – Recruitable, Summoned and Da Big Un
What I did not change is their armor or hp pool. So when I tested after my buffs, I was still able to kill them as woodelves myself by focusing fire pretty quickly, that’s why I made them FAST, to get in and out of combat.
They are still very easy to kill with archers. Rogue Idols by default have 1.2 increase of how easy it is for projectile to hit it. So they soak up arrows like crazy. Giant’s are at 0.8 right now (both CA values) so I guess this should make this buff balanced.

They outrun the pesky Yeomen.

Blessing of the Lady is definitely lost now.
