NNTC "Creature" 9KM Range AMRAAM (≈AIM-120B)
First of its kind 1×1 beyond visual range air to air missile. The same great close range guidance as the Photon, but built with a switching guidance system that allows the missile to cruise at twice the speed of sound to within spitting range of the target, then lead it at close range. Using this the missile obtains insane range numbers, with maneuverability only just below that of the Photon. This missile’s closest IRL counterpart is the AIM-120B.
Special thanks to Pilot228 for designing the guidance computer and implementing the ZEMAPN algorithm.

2.5-8.9km
Tip: The seeker FOV is VERY narrow, this missile should be used in conjunction with some kind of target sighting device (Radar HUD or similar) to make sure that the target is in range and DIRECTLY on your nose. This is just because the seeker is very narrow to detect targets at such range. At medium ranges, the missile will do the rolling scanning system like that of previous missiles, so it may grab lock from medium range.
Look at the microcontroller icon for the guidance computer, it is really funny.
We came up with the name Creature because the missile was so hard to tune and get working correctly, but would devour targets like nothing else when we finally got the settings dialed in.
More than one missile can be applicable in the situations above, and there may be a better option that has been omitted from recommendation based on size, or by unrealistic abilities per the time period.
